Real time-ish reactions to tonight's White Collar:

Of course Mozzie loves silly movies, and can recite all the lines. Don't look at Mozzie like that, Neal, you know you know all the words to Ocean's 11 and The Italian Job- the original movies, mind you, not just the remakes. I refuse to believe that an art thief and forger of Neal's caliber isn't also an enormous dork.

June. June needs to show up more often. June also needs to get herself invited to the weekly FBI poker game (the one that Neal keeps trying to wrangle an invite for, but Cruz keeps cockblocking him because she likes it when he flirts with her), so she can take everyone for all they're worth.

I need a White Collar/Bones crossover where Peter and Booth bond over wacky socks. Gift from Elizabeth? Suuuure. On the other hand, Peter has been consistently been shown to be the sort of endearingly useless man who couldn't get dressed in the morning without his wife's help.

Peter is terrible with children, and Neal is wonderful with them, and this entertains me immensely. Also, Peter being competent is hot, and I wish they let him be so more often. He is the man who caught Neal twice- and he's either extraordinarily good, or just extraordinarily obsessed with Neal. I would like to think this is a both/and situation, not an either/or.

Wow, Elizabeth is beautiful with her hair like that. I want to dress her up in fairy princess gowns or something. Quick, fandom, provide me with the White Collar/Merlin AU crossover of my dreams! (Maybe make that a straight up AU without the Merlin. I seem to only like post modern Arthurian retellings these days. Under in the Mere, I'm lookin' at you.)

Wow, Elizabeth is totally angling for the threesome, and Neal is starting to see the appeal. Also, I love the fact that Peter brings Neal into his home to discuss a breach of trust, not into the office. Way to keep your relationship with the criminal professional, Peter. Who else thinks that was Elizabeth's idea?

Was that a wipe? Oh my god, that was a wipe. That was the cheesiest wipe ever, it was totally unnecessary and totally awesome, they could have just done a normal cut from the van to Neal and Meilin in the elevator, but no, they had to do a sideways wipe. Heeeeeee cheesy spy movie tropes.

I'm still unsure how I feel about the Kate plotline; I would like it immensely if it turns out that Kate is in cahoots with her captor. Given the choice between her as a villain and her as a princess in need of a rescue, I would infinitely prefer her to be evil. And I don't want Neal to have to choose between his lady love and Peter-and-Elizabeth- or rather, I don't want that choice to be difficult for him. I can't think happy OT3 thoughts in good conscience while he's still canonically so attached to Kate. (See also: one of the many reasons I cannot read Nu-Trek Kirk/Spock without my skin crawling. This wasn't always such a big problem for me, but apparently now it is. *sigh*)
